Be encouraged by a great truth from the Word of God. As we read it, believe it, and absorb it into our spirit, it will sustain us, bless us and make us bold! Just think of it; as a child of God, you are in Christ, blessed with Him, seated with Him, and chosen in Him.
I am blessed and encouraged by the truth that God knew me before the creation of the world. Not only did He know me but He had plans for me. My natural birth was no surprise to Him! King David said in Psalm 139 “You knit me together in my mother’s womb – before my days began you knew every one of them”. When I was Born Again, that was no surprise to Him either! He had planned for me and was expecting me! He transformed me and gave me new life.
Remember; we are “chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world”. To understand fully our Father’s love for us, and our value to Him, we have to start at the beginning. Not the day we were converted – or the day we were born, but in his heart before ever time began. He knew every fault you had, and every mistake you would ever make. He knew that you would sometimes fall, but that you would get up again. He knew that you would follow Him and that He would fill you with His Spirit. He knew that in His hands you would become an instrument of honour, that He would perfect the work he started, and that your victories would encourage others.
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” Think about that!
