We get the message! Prayer is vital. As we engage in prayer as Jesus practiced and taught it, and, as the first disciples followed on to do it, so we too will experience similar results. God will arise, his enemies will be scattered and Kingdom power will be released!
Hearts will be touched with repentance! People will turn to God! Genuine renewal will begin! Pastors and leaders will be bold! Saints will be equipped to do the will of God! The Holy Spirit will distribute His gifts! The Church will be exhorted, edified and comforted! There will be a spirit of reconciliation among God’s people! There will be new love, humility and self-sacrifice! There will be signs and wonders of healing! Christians will move in the spirit of love and compassion.
There will be radical changes in people’s lives! Christ will be exalted! Demons will be evicted! Whole families, Groups, Streets, Towns, Cities will be saved, Satanic strongholds will be demolished! Media, education, commerce and government will be opened to the power of the Gospel! How do we know this? It’s happened before! It’s recorded in the Book of Acts!
Jesus spent a lot of time teaching His followers the importance of prayer. He taught them when to pray, where to pray and what to pray for. Prayer was the only subject the disciples asked Him for a lesson on. In fact, Prayer was the only ‘HOW TO’ lesson He gave.
We are God’s House, the dwelling place of God by the Spirit. By His grace and with His help, let’s make it truly a “House of Prayer”.
Be blessed.
See you at prayer time.
Eddie.
